At St Margaret Ward, we have been involved in FIRST Tech Challenge UK since its launch. We aim to support other team leads in getting started with the technical side of the challenge, and empower you to have the confidence to build and programme your robot for the first time. We’re all about making sure no team feels isolated. FIRST Tech Challenge UK is More Than Robots, and when students are inspired and empowered, incredible things can happen.
Our goal is to expand FIRST Tech Challenge UK across the West Midlands and to link schools together to share their expertise and build confidence in each other. A team will never forget their first experience with a FIRST Tech Challenge UK in-person event, and we want to do everything we can to make that possible for all schools across the West Midlands. Robotics should never be something to be feared or seen as out of reach; we want to make robotics, and FIRST Tech Challenge UK, accessible for all. Together, we can make that happen.
